Grandpa's Pool House is a vacation rental experience.
It's a one of a kind, eclectic home filled to the brim with unique retro pieces, vintage glam and kitschy style. Including multiple themed bedrooms, an indoor pool, vintage vehicles and tons of rotating props to enjoy. There's even a prop motorcycle in the basement. This incredible, funky home can be used for groups to stay, photo shoots, music video shoots, interviews and more!

The current logo wasn't suiting the client's needs. She was looking for a refresh that could be used for branding on various medium including apparel.
The client and I met to do some brainstorming. As you can imagine, she's a creative person with a funky taste in design so I wanted to make sure to pick her brain to understand her full vision.
I immediately went to work on several different designs. These iterations show the evolution where I was focusing on modeling, cocktails, tropical, and stars. I shared them with her and we narrowed them down.

These were the final two iterations. I found a picture of her grandpa, traced it, and added the wink. She decided to go with both since she liked them for different applications.
