Creative Images is a tattoo and body piercing shop. They've been around for a long time - serving the north metro 7 days a week since 1994! Their family of artists offer a wide variety of services including tattoos of all styles, body piercings with high end jewelry options, cosmetic tattoos, post-mastectomy/scar coverup tattoos, and laser tattoo removal.

The client didn't have a website. They relied on Facebook and the artists' individual Instagram pages to display their work and promote the business.
I met with the client to discuss what she was looking for. She mentioned that it was kind of embarrassing that it's 2023 and they didn't have a website but they just want something very minimal.
Once the meeting was over, I immediately started researching. I needed to find a CMS platform that would suit her needs. I also researched tattoo shops, body piercing shops, and various salons. This helped me determine what information is useful to current and potential clients. I created a site flow and wireframes to show what information should be on what pages. Once that was done, I started writing the content and pulling together images.
After that, I got to work building the site in Square Space. I tested it in both desktop and mobile views. I also made sure that the site was accessible.
A simple yet beautiful website.
The new website incorporates all of the services they provide as well as with still including links to the individual artist and piercer pages and how to contact them.
